ARTYX Construction successfully transformed a three-story commercial building into a state-of-the-art, 24-hour animal hospital. Originally designed as a finance company, the building required extensive renovations to accommodate the specialized needs of a veterinary facility. Approximately 50% of the original interior layout was reconfigured to optimize functionality, creating a highly efficient and modern space.

The project involved close collaboration with a team of industry professionals, including an architect, mechanical engineer, structural engineer, and electrical engineer. Detailed construction plans guided every stage of the renovation, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and adherence to all building codes. Throughout the process, inspections were conducted by both our engineering team and the City of Ottawa, ensuring full compliance with municipal regulations.

The completed facility features a comprehensive range of spaces designed to support veterinary care and emergency services. Key areas include a dedicated surgery room, a dental room, an X-ray room, a laboratory, and a clean room. Additionally, the hospital provides two spacious dog run rooms, four exam rooms, a comfortable rest area for overnight staff, a fully equipped kitchen, and four bathrooms to accommodate both staff and visitors.
